5. Be socially responsive. A lot of people assume that as business persons, they have no responsibility towards society and their sole objective is making profits. This is an absolutely wrong attitude to possess. Remember that your business exists within the purview of a society; the people who work in your business also come from the same society. If you don’t give back to it, if you don’t work towards its preservation, it will not give back to you in the long run, and you will be left high and dry.
6. Honesty pays. This is absolutely true, however much your personal belief is to the contrary. Even if dishonesty works for you once or twice, remember that you may not remain third time lucky. So behave and act honestly, for your profits to grow manifold, and for your financial position to grow from strength to strength.
7. Restlessness invariably works well. Those who rest on their laurels and do not aspire for more, rarely manage to achieve more. You have to have a certain degree of impatience in the pursuit of your goals. In this context, there is a very appropriate saying, good is the biggest enemy of great.
8. Have an artistic bent of mind. Again, this is extremely important. Akin to being creative, you also need to have an artistic bent of mind where you are able to see things from a more aesthetic perspective. This works very well from the financial point of view as well, as this way, you are able to identify opportunities where others may simply fail to notice.
9. Have a spontaneous spark. Often, there are situations where you simply cannot afford to take too much time in making decisions; they have to be made off the spur, and fairly quickly. Also, go by your instincts as more often than not, they are right. Do not wait for some other situation to arise for you to make your decision.
10. The right zodiac sign also seems to have a role to play.
