When it comes to the actual content of the email, this is where so many marketers drop the ball. They give nothing of value. The whole email is nothing but a sales pitch. Let me tell you something. Your prospects want something of value first before they buy anything from you. This is how you earn their trust. If they don’t trust you, they won’t buy from you. And let me tell you, nobody is going to trust you if all you give them is one sales pitch after another.
Finally, there’s the actual sending of the email itself. Lots of marketers decide they’re either going to use some cheap service that can’t guarantee any kind of good delivery rate or they try to send emails from their own servers. Let me tell you, that is one way of getting your ISP to shut you down. One spam complaint is all it takes. So don’t scrimp and save here. Get yourself a reputable service that can guarantee good delivery and one that will accept all responsibility for emails delivered.
