We have forums with almost every subject imaginable for writing. The forums is the place for users to go to offer each other real time advice. We all know how it is waiting for a reply from a site administrator because of how busy they are or they accidentally delete it because the email was filed under spam. It can be very frustrating, which is why we have the option of posting up in the forum. As of current we have a full time GMOD( global moderator – chamberlain ) of the forum and the Administrator( admin ) to look over the site.
The other section of the site which is not very populated at the moment is our classifieds section( http://www.brushwrites.com/classifieds/ ) . This as of now is not an important aspect of the site but rather just an option for users to use. On the classifieds section we do allow personals but any solicitation of sex will result in your account being suspended. If the same user creates another account and does this again we will report the IP address to the ISP for the owner’s name. Once that is received we will forward it to the local authorities for further review.
Our goal at Brush Writes when we started was to help writers with the skills they possess. We strive to help budding writers get the knowledge they need to land that job they want with for example a local newspaper, or an online magazine. The point is we are here for the writers. Like our motto says “For writers, by writers.”
We know how hard it is to be noticed by publishers for the work you create. Nowadays it either takes a miracle or an extreme amount of skill to just walk into a newspaper and land a writing job right off the bat. Most writers cant just walk in and say “I’m the right person for this job and you know it Mr. Editor.” We would have a lot less writing in the world if everyone was under the impression they could do that. But our wish is that by visiting Brush Writes you come out of it a better writer all around, confident in your abilities.
